Publishing
Publishing makes your data part of a public, permanent archive. Because of that, CensusIO is careful about what gets published and when.
The rule: only approved records
Section titled “The rule: only approved records”A record is only ever published if it has been approved in review. Drafts, in-review, and rejected records stay private. This is the whole point of the review workflow: the public archive contains data your team has signed off on, and nothing else.
How records become public
Section titled “How records become public”- An admin publishes the survey type. From the records table, Make public publishes the survey type, and every record that is already approved is published at that moment.
- After that, approving a record publishes it. Once the survey type is published, approving an in-review record (one at a time or in bulk) also adds it to the public archive.
