Data connections

A BI tool reads the feed with a token, a read-only credential that stands in for an account. You manage tokens in Settings, under Data connections.

Create a token

Section titled “Create a token”
  1. Under Data connections, find the Feed URL (copy it; you will paste it into your BI tool).
  2. Under Create a token, give it a name (for example, “Power BI read”) and choose Create token.
  3. The token is shown once. Copy it and store it somewhere safe; it cannot be retrieved again.

Each token appears in the list with a short prefix, when it was last used, and whether it is Active or Revoked.
