Analytics and BI

CensusIO’s built-in reports and exports cover a lot, but sometimes you want your data in your own tool. CensusIO exposes a read-only OData feed that Power BI, Tableau, and ArcGIS Pro connect to natively, so they read your data live rather than from a file you re-export.

The BI feed CensusIO exposes a live OData feed at /api/odata, authenticated with a token. Power BI, Tableau, and ArcGIS Pro connect to that feed to read the organization's data, with one table per survey type. CensusIO exposes a live OData feed; your BI tool connects to it with a token and reads one table per survey type.

The flow is short: create a token, add the feed URL in your tool with that token, and your survey types appear as tables you can chart and refresh.
