Review and approval
CensusIO is a system of record, so it treats data as provisional until someone signs off on it. Every record moves through a short review workflow, and only approved records count as official and can be published. This keeps a clear line between data that has been checked and data that has not.
The idea
Section titled “The idea”- A record starts as a draft. When it is ready, it is submitted for review.
- A reviewer (an admin) approves it, making it official, or rejects it with a reason, sending it back for correction.
- An approved record can be reopened if something needs another look.
- Anyone who can edit can flag a record as suspect, marking it for a second look without changing its state.
Members submit and flag; admins approve, reject, and reopen. Viewers can see the history but take no action.
