Discovery

The public layer is meant to be found and used, so it needs no account.

The public discovery page shows every published observation on a map, with a list beneath it. Each row shows the observation, its survey type, the organization that contributed it, and the date, with a count of how many observations are shared by how many organizations. Choose an observation to open its own page.

Each observation has its own public page with its map point, an Observation card (survey type, organization, date, and location), and a clear note that it is shared through CensusIO’s open data layer, showing only curated attribution fields. The page also offers a ready-to-use citation (plain text and BibTeX), so anyone can credit your data correctly. See Citations.
