The reports hub
Open Reports from the header. The hub gathers built-in reports that summarize across all of your survey types, plus the custom report builder.
The built-in reports

Across every survey type:
- Survey effort summary: how much you have collected, broken down by survey type, with the first and last dates for each.
- Records over time: how your collection volume moves month to month, so you can see seasons and gaps.
- Species observed: every species recorded, ranked by how often it was seen.
- Species diversity: richness and evenness of your community (Shannon, inverse Simpson, and Pielou), plus Hill numbers (all three on one “effective number of species” scale), a Chao1 estimate of how many species are present including ones not yet detected, and a rarefaction curve showing how species accumulate with sampling effort (a curve that flattens means your inventory is nearly complete).
By location (records bound to a site or a waterbody):
- Species by station: which species were observed at each sampling station (the site a record is bound to).
- Species by water code: species observations rolled up by waterbody and its agency water code.
- Sampling history by station: how often each station was sampled, over what span, and how many species were found there.
- Trends at a water: records and species per waterbody, year over year.
For fisheries data (any survey with species and length, plus weight or age where present):
- Length frequency: the size distribution of each species you have measured.
- Relative weight (condition): body condition from relative weight, with a length-weight curve where no published standard exists.
- Size structure (PSD): how many stock-length fish reach quality, preferred, memorable, and trophy lengths.
- Age, growth, and mortality: mean length at age, a von Bertalanffy growth curve, and catch-curve mortality, for species you have aged.
- Recruitment: year-class strength and recruitment variability from catch-curve residuals, with a young-of-year (YOY, age-0) index, and a young-of-year CPUE where effort is recorded.
- Catch per unit effort (CPUE): a relative-abundance index by species, catch divided by the effort that produced it.
- Stock and recruitment: Ricker and Beverton-Holt spawner-recruit curves from a stock’s spawner and recruit time series.
- Fish biotic integrity (IBI): a Karr-style screen of stream fish community health from trophic, tolerance, and condition metrics, scored per reach.
For wildlife data:
- Herd composition: sex and recruitment ratios (males and juveniles per 100 females) from ungulate classification surveys.
- Harvest summary: hunter effort and success (success rate, animals per hunter-day) and harvest by species, unit, and method.
- Sex and age composition: sex ratio and age-class structure from individual harvest-check and mortality records.
- Mortality by cause: cause-of-death and carcass-condition distributions from found-dead surveys.
- Occupancy (detection-corrected): the share of sites a species occupies, corrected for visits that missed it, from repeat-visit surveys.
- Abundance (detection-corrected): mean and total abundance from repeated counts, corrected for the animals each visit missed.
- Occupancy dynamics (multi-season): how site occupancy changes across seasons, through colonization and local extinction.
- Nest success (Mayfield): daily and period nest survival from nest-day exposure and fate.
- Known-fate survival: Kaplan-Meier cumulative survival of tracked animals from interval at-risk and death counts.
For aquatic nuisance species (from your lab samples):
- ANS by waterbody: samples, species, and individuals rolled up by waterbody, with detections per species.
- Watercraft inspection specimens: specimens from watercraft inspections, by inspection station and by vessel origin.
- Partner samples: samples submitted by partner organizations, by submitting organization and waterbody.
- ANS by species: every species found across your lab samples, how many were counted, and where.

Choose a report to open it.
A report shows headline stats, tables, and bar charts, drawn from your data.
Export and print
Section titled “Export and print”Above each report are buttons to take it with you:
- Export CSV for the tables.
- Export Excel for a workbook, one sheet per table.
- Export PDF for a branded, paginated document.
- Save as report to keep this report for reuse (see Saved reports).
There is also a Print / Save as PDF option that opens your browser’s print dialog with a clean, branded layout (your logo, your organization name, the date), so you can print to paper or save a PDF.
