The summary page

Alongside the full analysis, each survey type has a lighter summary page: a fast read on what you have collected, without opening the full analysis.

It shows:

  • a count of records,
  • a Population snapshot, when one applies, with the protocol headline and any relative weight or size structure metrics, and a link to the full analysis,
  • a card for each field, showing how many records answered it, and a sense of the values: the minimum, mean, and maximum for a number; the date range for a date; the extent for a location; and the most common values for a choice.

It is the page to glance at to confirm a season’s data looks right before you dig in or export.

If a survey type has no records yet, the summary points you to enter data or import a file.
