Labs and partners
Below the location tree on the Locations page is a Labs and partners directory: the labs you send samples to and the partner organizations you work with. It is the reference list your team keeps in one place, so everyone uses the same names.
Add a lab, partner, or station
Section titled “Add a lab, partner, or station”Switch between the Labs, Partner orgs, and Inspection stations tabs, then add an entry with its Code, Name, a type (for a partner), a contact, and a postal address with a State / province. An inspection station can also carry coordinates and the organization that runs it (chosen from your labs and partners). You can Deactivate one you no longer use, or Remove it.
Today the lab on a lab sample is entered as free text, and the directory is the reference list your team copies from, so the names stay consistent. Choosing the lab from the directory directly is planned.
