Import and integration

CensusIO is the destination for survey data, so getting data in is the first step. There are three ways:

  • File import: a CSV, Excel, or dBASE file, mapped to a survey type. See Import data from a file.
  • Field collection: ODK Collect on Android. See Mobile collection.
  • Live sync: a standing connection to a tool your team already uses, so its data flows in on its own.

This section covers the live syncs, and the saved mapping presets that speed up repeated file imports.
